Glass food storage, reimagined from top to bottom
100% Glass Contact
Food only touches borosilicate glass — never plastic, not even on the lid.
Thermal Shock Proof
Withstands 120°C temperature shifts. Fridge → microwave → table — one dish, no transfer.
Stack & Store
Designed to stack cleanly in the fridge, pantry, or suitcase. Every shape fits.
Built to Last
Thick borosilicate glass and tempered glass lids. Made for years of daily use, not months.
Store. Bake. Serve. One Dish Does All
The lid is glass too — no silicone against the food, no BPA, no odor and no staining. And you can see what is inside without lifting it.
High borosilicate glass takes a sudden change in temperature without cracking, so the same container stores, reheats and bakes. Vent the lid before microwaving, and let it rest a moment before lifting — steam gathers fast.
Container and lid both go on the rack, and the glass stays clear after hundreds of washes. Less hand-washing, fewer dishes to move.
Every recipe here is built the way we cook: cook once, store it properly, eat well for days. Each one uses containers we actually tested, so the portions, the storage times and the reheating notes all hold up in a real kitchen.
Yes, for the glass body. Microwaving is gradual heating and typically stays within the 120°C thermal shock limit of borosilicate glass. Always open the steam valve before microwaving to release pressure.
Note: Do NOT transfer directly from freezer to oven or stovetop — that kind of rapid temperature change exceeds the thermal shock range.
Heating creates steam and pressure inside the container. Opening the valve lets steam escape, which prevents the lid from popping off and keeps the seal intact long-term.
Always vent before microwaving. It takes two seconds and saves you a lot of mess.
No. Only the glass body is oven-safe. Always remove the entire lid (glass lid or PP lid) before placing the container in the oven or on the stovetop.
The glass lid is designed for sealing, storing, and microwaving — not for direct oven heat.
Gently pull the silicone seal out of its groove in the lid with your fingers — it comes out easily. Wash with warm soapy water, rinse, and dry completely before pressing it back into the groove.
All parts are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended). We still recommend removing the seal periodically for a deeper clean.
No glass is unbreakable. Borosilicate glass is more resistant to thermal shock and impact than regular soda-lime glass, but it can still break if dropped or struck against hard surfaces.
Handle with care — the same way you'd treat any quality glassware.
Absolutely. Borohouse containers are designed specifically for stackable storage — perfect for meal prep, leftovers, and batch cooking.
Just make sure lids are fully sealed and valves are closed before stacking.
We carry two main sizes in the Glass-Lid Series: 37oz (4.6 cup) for lunch portions and side dishes, and 74oz (9.3 cup) for family-sized meals and batch cooking.
New to Borohouse? Start with the 4-Pack Mixed Set — you get two of each size, which covers most meal prep needs.
Both use borosilicate glass bodies. The difference is in the lid:
Glass-Lid Series— Tempered glass lid with silicone seal and steam valve. Sleeker look, lighter feel, microwave with the lid on (vented).
4-Clip Series— Glass lid with four locking clips and silicone seal. He-duty seal, ideal for liquid foods and traveling.
Both are 100% glass contact — zero plastic touching your food.
